Our Story
In 1969, Dr. William Laur and Dr. Randal E. Posey founded High Plains Dermatology Center with one goal in mind: improving the quality of life of their patients. Their hope was to show patients how to maintain a healthier lifestyle overall—starting with skincare.
Today, we’ve continued that goal by maintaining a positive, friendly office experience for everyone who enters our practice. We file all insurance paperwork for you and are providers for most networks. We even offer same-day appointments when available.

Meet the Doctors
Scott D. Miller, MD, FAAD, FASDS
Board Certified, American Board of Dermatology
Dr. Miller is a board-certified Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and a Fellow of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and an associate clinical professor at Texas Tech University School of Medicine. Born in Alabama, Dr. Miller attended the University of Michigan for undergraduate, received his Doctor of Medicine from Michigan State University, served his internship and residency at Brooke Army Medical Center here in Texas, and is a combat veteran, having also served in the Army as a flight surgeon. He joined the clinic in 2009.
Jason K. Jones, MD, FAAD, FASDS
Board Certified, American Board of Dermatology
Originally from the San Antonio area, Dr. Jones received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas. He then went to medical school at Texas Tech University and completed his residency at the University of Texas at Galveston. He joined the clinic in 2014.
Tyler Enos, MD, FAAD, FASDS
Board Certified, American Board of Dermatology
Dr. Enos was born and raised in Amarillo and received his undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University. He attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He continued at UT Southwestern, completing his dermatology residency and serving as Chief Resident in the Department of Dermatology. After residency, he completed a fellowship in dermatopathology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, under Dr. Ronald Rapini. He joined the clinic in 2022.
